After completing the book Hatchet, students thought and wrote about how the main character, Brian, changed from before and after the plane crash. They had to think about how he changed both physically and emotionally. They worked in groups to finalize lists of changes. Then they worked with their group to create a kid-sized Brian. Students needed to include words and drawings to show physical and emotional changes. The finished products came out great!
