Day 110 - Electricity Show Assembly - Mrs. Kippenberger - Memorial School Grade 3

Yesterday the science center visited to present to the school the electricity show. Not only did Mr. Musselman and Ms. Pavlicek stop by, but a special visitor was here too! Mr. Papodonis was here to help present in the show. Mr. P. was the founder of the Burlington Science Center over 20 years ago. Students learned the difference between conductors and insulators. They learned about static electricity, lightning, and what a Van de Graaff generator is and demonstrates. Student participation was involved and a few volunteers were from our third grade classes.
