Day 48 - 5th Grade Participates and Tweets with Global Read Aloud Author, Sharon Draper - Valerie Burns, Memorial School 5th Grade Teacher

5th Graders from Mrs. Burns' and Mr. Rabazzi's reading classes got to participate in the Live Stream Event where Global Read Aloud (GRA) author Sharon Draper answered students' questions (see the picture above).  These classes just finished the Global Read Aloud selection, Out of My Mind, this week and got to tweet their questions to Mrs. Draper. Students have been Skyping and blogging with classrooms around the country and the world.  Great job by all!
