Eighth grader Dan Xue plays ‘Danse Macabre’ (Dance of the Dead) with Ms. Medvitz, accompanist. A classical piece, it was composed by Saint Saens in1874. Dan has been working on this piece for a few weeks and will perform it at the MSMS Halloween Assemblies.
Dan also plays 1st trumpet in the Symphonic Band and the MSMS Trumpet Quintet, both of which are on the program for the Halloween festivities. Dan will be auditioning for the Northeast District Orchestra in January.
